COVID-19 Update
The safety and the well-being of our employees, our customers, and our families, is always the priority of Abacus Technologies. We recognize the important role we play in solving the problems Covid-19 is creating for OEM and CM supply chains worldwide. We are fully committed to staying open and mitigating the risk resulting from component factory closures and shipping delays.
We know that in order to stay in business, our customers need to continue production while taking measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Public Health Priority
Abacus is also taking precautionary measures to lessen the spread of the virus. We have suspended all travel and are accepting and promoting virtual meetings. We have also shifted employee desk locations to give at least 6 feet between sales reps, quality control specialists, and warehouse workers. We are disinfecting all packages as they are processed, and all surfaces are being disinfected and cleaned based on recommendations by government and health agencies.
Protecting Supply
We are continuing to monitor the situation as it evolves, and we have plans inplace to ensure uninterrupted service to our customers. We are also continuing to increase our warehouse inventory to meet demand and minimize adverse customer impact.
To provide additional solutions, we will be individually reaching out to customers to provide a detailed Bill of Material Analysis to scan for alternates or factories that have moved to unaffected areas at no extra cost. We are managing our supply chain and making every effort to understand and offset the potential impact of production and delivery delays.
